This book is written for aviation enthusiasts who may or may not wish to become private pilots. Its aim is to give simple technical notions of piloting by presenting in-flight exercises in a clear and amusing way, thus avoiding the use of overly scientific explanations which, for a beginner, are often difficult to assimilate.
Jean NICOLAS was able to observe the behavior of student pilots. An in-depth study of the pedagogical problems encountered in training led to the creation of a special instruction method for young instructor pilots. All the lessons are based on drawings, with excellent results for training aeronautics enthusiasts, particularly in Aero Clubs.
These comic strip collections have the modest ambition of presenting in-flight evolutions in easy-to-understand sketches that are attractive at first glance. You'll learn a lot without getting tired. Often, a good drawing, pleasant to look at, is more effective than a long, boring explanation (which will certainly have to be repeated several times afterwards). Pilots who wish to immerse themselves in simple theory will find useful tips for flying here.
Pascal ZIEGELBAUM, professional I.F.R. pilot-instructor and airline pilot, has contributed to this three-volume set: Dessine-moi un avion, Apprends-moi l'avion, Enseigne-moi la navigation.
