This book has been designed to help multiaxis pilots learn to fly in a practical way, providing a support tool to help them get the most out of each training session, by making it easier to understand, memorize and analyze their progress. Readers who already hold an airplane pilot's license are specifically reminded of the differences they will encounter when flying a multi-axis ultralight. Instructors can use the book with their students when preparing sessions or debriefings. Licensed pilots will find it a good summary of the fundamentals they need to know before flying again at the start of the season.

The book's structure is adapted to the pedagogical progression of learning to fly, from the simplest to the most advanced, with an understanding of emergency situations and an analysis of the main mistakes to avoid.

As in the two previous books in the same series, "Piloting a gyroplane" and "Piloting a tiltrotor", the chapters cover the whole spectrum of learning to fly a multiaxis, combining a good level of detail, a solid architecture to facilitate anchoring and practical elements of synthesis.
