GPS and GLONASS network accuracy

The GLO 2 receiver can receive position information from the GPS and GLONASS satellite constellations. This means it has access to 24 more satellites than GPS-only devices. This enables the GLO 2 receiver to acquire satellite signals 20% faster, and maintain the connection even at high speeds. What's more, the GLO 2 receiver updates its position information 10 times per second - up to 10 times more frequently than the GPS receivers built into many mobile devices.

Configuration and start-up

The GLO 2 receiver connects to your mobile device via Bluetooth wireless technology. Simply place your GLO2 within range of your mobile device and, moments later, you'll receive position data from the GLO 2 receiver. Its battery lasts up to 13 hours, so you can keep track of your position over long distances. To recharge your GLO 2 between uses, simply use the USB cable supplied or an optional 12/24 V cigarette-lighter cable. The optional non-slip mount secures the receiver to your dashboard, giving it an unobstructed view of the satellites.
