GPS for iPad

The XGPS150 adds GPS to your device:

- iPod touch®
- iPad 3®
- iPad 2®
- iPad®
- iPhone®
- Smartphones with Bluetooth
- Tablets and laptops with Bluetooth

With a high-precision GPS receiver and rechargeable battery to power it, the product adds wireless GPS via a Bluetooth connection to iPad, iPod touch, iPhone and other smartphones and laptops that support Bluetooth SPP.

The XGPS150 enables these devices to be used with software and applications for car navigation, marine navigation, as a rangefinder on the golf course and for geocaching,

They'll also benefit from the WAAS GPS receiver's accuracy of + - 3m, superior to that of the iPhone, with at least 8 hours' use. The battery recharges via USB in just over 2 hours.

Simple to use and configure. Afterwards, the receiver automatically connects with the device, enabling you to use a wide range of location-based applications.

With the GPS Status Tool application (free from the iTunes store), the XGPS150 displays information such as:

- Your location
- The number of satellites detected by the receiver and the signal strength of each
- The charge level of the XGPS150, and indicates when it is being charged
- Indication of whether your XGPS150 is connected to your iPad/iPod touch/iPhone

Includes a non-slip pad for use in cars and boats. The XGPS150 is not waterproof, but can withstand minor splashes when securely fastened to the anti-slip pad.

Also includes an armband for using your GPS receiver during outdoor activities (picnics, cycling, jogging, etc.). Can be attached to your backpack or handlebars.
