If one day, a mischievous little boy entrusts you with a model fighter plane for the day, be on your guard, especially if the toy you left behind the desk's electric pencil sharpener mysteriously turns up next to the black lacquered pencil box.
You could well be the unwitting protagonist of a fantastic story straight from the flowing pen of a storyteller-pilot-poet whose imagination is as rich as it is erudite.
With The Last Flight of John Takeguchiyou'll board a Mitsubishi A6M Zero and take to the skies in all their guises - the skies of the greatest naval air battle of all time, the battle of Leyte Gulf in the Philippines during the Battle of the Pacific in 1944, but also the skies of the goddesses and gods of a universal pantheon, in which John Takeguchi plays a key role in a story that combines past and present, so that myth gives birth to reality.
Dedicated to all his fighter-pilot brothers, this aeronautical tale is a pure delight, as it opens the secret doors to a dream world where everything is about aviation.
