Our experience at Aero Friedrichshafen 2024

As soon as we arrived on the site, the excitement was palpable. The vast halls of Aero Friedrichshafen were bustling with visitors from all over the globe, all united by their shared love for passionate flying. Among the 680 exhibitors from 38 countries, we discovered a true melting pot of cultures, ideas, and talents, creating an electric atmosphere charged with anticipation.

Our visit to the show began with a full immersion into the world of drones, which was one of the highlights of this edition, with a focus on public-use drones. These fascinating machines, used in fields such as security (police, military, surveillance companies...), emergency services (firefighters...), and agriculture, were present to showcase their growing importance in our modern society.

But it wasn’t only public-use drones that were presented: drones intended for individuals, particularly for photography and videography, were also highlighted. Notably, the iconic DJI drones.

The 2024 edition also highlighted green aviation: revolutionary electric planes, cutting-edge sustainability technologies such as lighter, innovative, and more efficient materials, were all present. It’s undeniable, year after year, we witness significant progress in the efforts of aircraft manufacturers to address the growing ecological challenges.

We had the privilege of discovering the latest electric planes such as the Integral E from AURA AERO, the 100% electric aerobatic plane from the Toulouse-based manufacturer, or even the first public presentation of the Diamond eDA40 electric, and many more.

Among the innovations that impressed us, we can mention the latest electric engines, lighter and more efficient than ever from Kite Magnetics, the announcement of the serial launch of the TP-R90 (140 hp) turbine by Turbotech, the Atos wings from Air, and many others...

We witnessed the rapid evolution of aviation and its commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future. Each demonstration, each presentation, propelled us into a future where aviation continuously pushes the boundaries of what is possible.

French manufacturers, we can tell you, can be proud of their advances in the field!

Of course, more traditional yet no less spectacular aircraft were also showcased: the latest gliders, light aircraft, helicopters, and ultralights. We witnessed the diversity and beauty of aviation in all its forms.

However, it was the meetings with enthusiasts and industry experts that truly enriched our experience at Aero Friedrichshafen 2024. Reconnecting with our suppliers provided numerous opportunities to share ideas, exchange knowledge, and strengthen our business ties.

We took advantage of these meetings to record numerous videos with them, which will soon be available on our YouTube channel.

In conclusion, our trip to Aero Friedrichshafen 2024 will remain etched in our memories as an unforgettable experience. This event was much more than just an international show; it was a celebration of passion, innovation, and excellence in the field of aviation. As we leave with stars in our eyes and our hearts full of memories, we eagerly await future editions of Aero Friedrichshafen and the adventures that await us there.
