This incredible aircraft, based on the famous Rolls Royce Pegasus, provides the aesthetic backdrop
for the new watch collection for AVI-8.
The forged stainless steel case, machined and assembled with an anti-reflective mineral sapphire lens
for durability and visibility. On the underside of the watch, the caseback is sculpted with the
effigy of jet engine turbines. It also features an aluminum chronograph pusher.
Inside the case is a unique Japanese precision chronograph movement that reads day,
date, seconds and chronometer through a series of perfectly balanced hands, circular discs
and counters perfectly positioned to offer clear information at all times without ever
interfering with the functionality of the time.
The hour and minute hands are sword-shaped in classic aviation proportions
integrated to keep in step with the rest of the significantly modern watches.
Finally, the strap echoes the belts and harnesses worn by pilots.
