With 2 dB more noise attenuation than the standard ALPHA 900 platform, the ALPHA 900 SAR offers enhanced protection against the low-frequency noise associated with rotary-wing aircraft. - Withstands harsh environments.
Corrosion-resistant material and neck adjustment mechanism preserve helmet life.
Replaces U.K. and other Fielded ALPHA helmets. - The ALPHA 900 replaces the British MoD ALPHA 800 (SAR) helmet used by over 65 air forces worldwide.
Easily adaptable. - Features a waterproof communication cable that can be connected to an aircraft intercom system during transport and switched to a radio when disembarking from the aircraft.
- Night vision compatible.
The NVG-compatible visor housing allows integration of NVG or other head-mounted optical equipment, while the advanced fastening system maintains helmet stability.
